oooh yez - we did it again just after 1 week where we did our initial dry-run with our new soundsystem … and we knew its gonna become one of the “hottest” ones at least temperature wise ;-) 36 degree … nothing much to add … and as expected the prater frankly was empty and all people (despite the current plague of zerkadien worms in the open waters) were crowding somewhere else ….

vienna vinyl lovers just did not care and met 13:00 at usual spot to start carrying the equipment toward arenawiese … haha everyone sweating like 10 pigs we were moving the wagerl(s) through the desert … hitting our target with the first shock - the “bank” which we thought was still there was gone - some family party gang around the corner just grabbed it in the morning and even with special (maybe too friendly;-) negotiation skills from mr waka they were not willing to hand it back to us…

so we learned how to use our wagerl to also carry heavy prater banks => and it worked like a breeze !

and next “issue” was the soundsystem - either we are still to stupid to operate it (too much electronics) or it is yet just another “primadonna” within our collective … it took us more than 30 minutes to figure out a configuration where alle 3 speakers worked properly … but eventually we made it (no clue how to re-do it next time but thats another story)

so knut started with a fantastic set of smooth grooves, followed by myself mr. cactüs and waka, berndie, stevo, and then a mixed pingpong round towards around 20:00 where the second akkupack said goodbye and we had to stop this picknick … with some very small but still very warming standing ovation from some groups sitting in the arenawiese

even some magistrats controlling guy hit our event - but was totally chilled about our setup and genehmigung we have from MA36 - we are just too small to be considered harmful for them

so packing together (no van action today) and jointly moving out everything

again thaaanx to all the crowd to make this happen again
